Because the square is a pedestrian area, the place is particularly quiet and clean .
Pergine Valdarno is a very typical small village in Tuscany , surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. According to documents found in the Granducato di Toscana archives, the village was built around 1050.
On top of a 350m(1150ft) hillside, it's the perfect spot for breathtaking views of the Arno Valley. The climate is beautiful as well, during the summer a slight mountain breeze cools the air and in the winter the dry mountain air gives you clear days .
While the village of Pergine Valdarno retains its Old World charm it still offers all the modern conveniences such as a grocery, bakery, butcher, restaurant, bank, post office, pharmacy and police station.

Our FREE Guide book where we give all the information about the Valdarno area (train time table to Florence and to Rome, suggestions about shop , roads, restaurants and much more) is a useful help for our guests to feel 'at home'.
